Men at Hope Conference - Gospeled Friendship
Why does it seem so hard for men to make and maintain friendships? We are more connected than ever through technology and yet as a society we are more isolated and lonelier than ever. This is particularly evident in the lack of close, life-giving relationships among men. First John 1:7 (ESV) says, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin." Friendship starts with the gospel. The basis of close, life-giving relationships has to be the deep love that Christ has shown to us. When we walk in the truth of that light, it impacts our relationships eternally.Guest speaker Jared Wilson will unpack the need for Christ-centered relationships that cling to Jesus and provide encouragement, accountability, transparency, and meaningful fellowship. Registration is now open. Invite a friend, family member, or co-worker and join us on Saturday, April 5th, at 9:00am, at Hope Christian Church.Registration is $40 per person and includes all sessions, a copy of "Friendship with the Friend of Sinners" by Jared Wilson, drinks, snacks, and lunch.Jared C.
