Due to a very high probability of showers and storms in current weather forecasts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Sunday Funday event that was scheduled for this Sunday, August 18th, on HCC’s back lawn.

We would certainly never want to host such an event during a storm for many reasons, including the use of power cables outdoors in wet conditions. Sunday Funday is meant to be FUN, and contending with rainy and possibly stormy weather would be anything but fun.

Due to the ordering of large quantities of food, a giant tent, inflatables and other equipment that would be necessary for the event, we had to make this decision now to avoid unnecessary expenses. Thank you for your understanding.

Please know that this decision was made with much thought and discussion among our team of pastors. We now look forward to our next church-wide event, Trunk or Treat, which will happen in October. More on that coming soon!
